Brendan (the old fella) owner and head chef serves up delicious pancakes with billy tea and coffee. Enjoy the chance to meet other fellow travelers and have a chat about their experiences.

4WD Information Night
On Monday evenings, join Joel Fleming of Direct Four W.D. Awareness for an informative ‘4WD Preparation and Planning’ talk.
Joel is an experienced 4WD tour operator and passes on his knowledge and tips during the hour and a half free talk and slide show (Available April to September).
Our very knowledgeable astronomer, Andrew, takes visitors on a journey through Central Australia’s breath-taking night sky. Our star talk facility is equipped with a 275mm (11”) telescope so you have a hands on experience at looking at the night skies.
Talks are held every Tuesday evening from 7pm, weather permitting.
Rockin in the 50s
Local author, Edna Bradley, delivers a talk and film presentation on the start of tourism in Central Australia. Hear about the original 1957 T.A.A. Women’s Tour.
Enjoy this presentation and get lost in the history every Tuesday from 5pm.
Come and test your skills at Indoor Bowls, Chess and Draughts on Thursday nights 5pm to 6.30pm.
Great fun for the whole family, see how your skills fare against other park visitors while having a laugh at the same time.
The Red Centre Show
Local Australian Geographic Photographer and Singer-Songwriter, Barry Skipsey presents his unique Audio Visual, The Red Centre Show every Wednesday night. Great Australian songs accompany the projection of over 400 images of Central Australia on the BIG Screen.
Barry is a must for all visitors to the park. Every picture is a song in itself.
Wine and Cheese Night
Watch the amazing sunset over the magnificent MacDonnell Ranges. All you need to bring is your favourite bottle of wine, we supply the cheese and biscuits, and get to know your fellow travellers. BYO chairs as well.
This is held every Friday on the star talk hill from 5pm to 6.30pm. See you there.
Come along and experience the amazing sounds of the didgeridoo with Andrew Langford from “Sounds of Starlight Theatre”, every Saturday from 5pm.
A not-to-be missed experience you will be mesmerised by the sounds and amazed by Andrew’s talent.
